Job summary

Airbus Aerosystems Kinston, Inc. is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Technician to join the Facilities team in Kinston, NC. You will perform repairs and preventive maintenance on plant facilities, machinery and equipment to ensure optimal operation and safety.

The role involves working with electrical schematics, CNC/PLC systems and industrial automation, using both hand and power tools, and following CMMS workflows. Training and career development are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting electrical schematics.
• Experience with industrial/automation maintenance.
• Experience with CNC or PLC systems.
• Work experience with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or Fanuc.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance on plant facilities and machinery.
• Use hand and power tools; interpret blueprints and diagrams.
• Enter work orders into CMMS and order parts as needed.
• Move heavy equipment safely and perform rigging tasks.
