Job summary

West Coast Solutions is seeking an Engineering Technician to support the assembly, integration, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of advanced aerospace hardware at our Huntington Beach, CA site. You will work closely with engineers to build prototypes, prepare hardware for testing, and support lab operations.

The role requires hands-on electrical/mechanical skills, PCB soldering, and the ability to read schematics with a strong focus on quality and safety.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on technical experience.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical and mechanical hardware.
• Experience with PCB soldering and electronic assembly.
• Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform PCB assembly, soldering, and rework of SMT and through-hole components.
• Build and modify harnesses utilizing D-Sub, Micro-D, and circular connectors.
• Support hardware integration, troubleshooting, and testing activities.
• Operate laboratory equipment including oscilloscopes, power supplies, and multimeters.
• Execute test procedures and document test results.
• Support calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe laboratory environments.
