Job summary

Versar Global Solutions is seeking an Aerospace Engineering and Operations Technician to provide technical management for the U.S. Coast Guard HC-144 MRS product line. The role requires coordinating engineering efforts, validating designs, and ensuring compliance with maintenance standards.

The position demands extensive airframe and powerplant experience, plus fleet management expertise, and requires onsite work at the Coast Guard facility in Elizabeth City, NC. English proficiency and U.S.

Qualifications

• Fifteen years of airframe and powerplant maintenance experience.
• Three years in aircraft maintenance management of airframe and powerplant.
• Four years of fleet management experience with safety of flight release.

Responsibilities

• Provide aeronautical engineering technical management and act as POC for MRS Lead Engineer.
• Research HC-144 engineering projects and develop final design solutions with prototype data.
• Create structural damage maps and classify structural areas per 1C-144A-3, 51-00-00.
• Develop airframe structural repair plans maintaining or exceeding OEM criteria.
• Prepare technical memos documenting issues and coordinate with OEMs for responses.
