Job summary

General Plastics Manufacturing Company, located in Tacoma, WA, invites applications for an Engineering Internship – Summer 2027. Candidates must be enrolled in an Engineering or Materials Science Bachelor's program and graduating between 2027 and 2030.

The internship runs roughly 30–40 hours per week for 12–16 weeks, offering hands-on aerospace manufacturing experience and paid compensation. Responsibilities include QA inspection and testing, development and support of materials with the R&D

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in Engineering/Materials Science degree program and graduating in next three years (2027-2030).
• Must have completed at least one full year of Engineering/Materials Science classes.

Responsibilities

• Quality Assurance inspection and testing in a manufacturing environment.
• Development, implementation, and support of new and existing materials with R&D team.
• Mechanical engineering projects including CAD work.
• Manufacturing process engineering with Operations team.
