Job summary

ESAero is seeking a motivated Mechanical/Battery Engineering student for an Engineer Internship – Summer Program. The role involves hands-on work across the full engineering lifecycle in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, with up to 40 hours/week on-site in San Luis Obispo, CA.

Qualifications

• Current junior or senior engineering student or recent graduate.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Hands-on mindset with a willingness to roll up your sleeves and get the job done.
• Ability to consistently comply with all safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist with engineering efforts across the full product lifecycle: requirements, design, build, test, and delivery
• Support the development of solutions to complex technical problems
• Build, assemble, and set up equipment
• Assist in the creation and testing of prototypes
• Help create and maintain build and technical documentation
• Utilize machining tools to modify and fabricate parts
• Assist with work packets and production-related documentation
• Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a safe working environment
