Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Inc. in Torrance, CA, is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager for Engineered Components to develop long-range sourcing strategies for castings, forgings, and precision machined parts.

You will source, evaluate, and onboard suppliers based on capability, cost, and risk, leading negotiations for LTAs and master service agreements. You will work closely with Engineering, Operations and Quality to align supplier strategy with product requirements and ensure a steady supply chain

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of strategic sourcing experience in aerospace or similar manufacturing.
• Authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship not available.
• Experience with LTAs and supplier onboarding; knowledge of export controls.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute long-range sourcing strategies for engineered categories.
• Source, evaluate, and onboard suppliers based on capability and cost.
• Use should-cost modeling and make-vs-buy analyses to identify savings.
• Lead drafting and execution of LTAs and master service agreements.
• Monitor market trends and material cost drivers to minimize disruptions.
• Partner with Engineering, Operations and Quality for supplier onboarding.
