Job summary

Sierra Space is seeking an Aerospace Engineer II to contribute to the design, analysis, and testing of aerospace systems and components. You will apply aerodynamic, astrodynamic, and thermal principles to support vehicle-level analyses and system design with cross-functional teams.

You will document technical data, participate in reviews, and apply first-order aerospace concepts to drive successful project outcomes. Colorado-based role with a strong emphasis on collaboration and innovation.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Typically 2+ years of related experience.
• Strong understanding of Aerodynamics, Astrodynamics, Thermal Analysis, Dynamics and Vibration, GN&C, Mass Properties.
• Familiar with vehicle-level analysis and system design.
• Applied aerospace principles and first-order analyses in projects.
