Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required (Aeronautical or Aerospace preferred).
  • Ability to read, interpret, and analyze complex technical drawings, OEM data, and engineering documentation.
  • Experience in writing detailed technical reports and communicating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Airport & Runway Surveillance: evaluate airports, runways and environment to establish performance data.
  • Operational Data & System Support: interface with Flight Operations, IT, and Commercial to provide engineering data and guidance.
  • Process Improvement & Compliance: develop and refine procedures to meet FAA requirements and Delta standards.
  • Safety & Integrity: promote safety-conscious practices across processes, reporting, and projects.
  • Project Execution: manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced airline environment.
