Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an Aerospace Engineer with 2+ years of industry experience to support MRAS repairs, ground support equipment development, and cross-functional project activities in a dynamic aerospace environment.

You will coordinate with internal teams, partners, and suppliers, while guiding others and maintaining cost and schedule requirements across inhouse and off-station MRO work. Strong communication and teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Associate Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or A/P License, or equivalent Aviation MRO or Aviation Manufacturing work experience.
• 2+ years of Aerospace industry experience.
• US Person status required due to export-controlled technology.
• 3+ years of aviation engineering or technical customer support experience preferred.
• Aviation MRO experience preferred.
• Ability to guide and influence others.
• Nacelle hardware and engineering tools expertise.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Ability to work in a cross-functional global matrix environment.
• Strong problem solving, negotiating, and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and achieve milestones and deliverables.

Requirements

• Bachelor or Associate Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, from an accredited college or university, or A/P License, or equivalent Aviation MRO or Aviation Manufacturing work experience is required.
• 2+ years of Aerospace industry experience is required.
• This position involves access to export-controlled technology which requires U.S. Person status or government authorization.
• 3+ years of experience in aviation related engineering (FAR 43 / FAR 145) and/or technical customer support experience is preferred.
• Aviation MRO Experience is preferred.
• Ability to guide and influence others.
• In-depth understanding of nacelle hardware and engineering technology and tools.
