Job summary

RTX in the United States is seeking a skilled engine inspection technician to read and apply engine manuals, perform advanced borescope inspections, and document findings for overhaul and build processes.

You will generate Engine Inspection Reports, manage fits/clearances, and process SAP transactions while collaborating with production, quality, and engineering teams to ensure on-time delivery in a FAA-regulated setting.

Qualifications

• Read, interpret, and apply engine manuals, work scopes, specifications and tolerances.
• Experience operating borescope inspection equipment and interpreting results.
• Strong documentation and data recording skills.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, and apply engine manuals, customer work scopes, specifications, and tolerances.
• Perform advanced borescope inspection processes using specialized tooling and precision measurement equipment.
• Accurately document inspection findings and engine configuration data to support engine overhaul and build processes.
• Complete and review technical documentation including Engine Inspection Reports (EIRs), fits and clearances, and SAP transactions.
• Partner cross-functionally with production, quality, and engineering teams to support on-time engine delivery and operational excellence.
• Meet production, quality, and inspection goals in a fast-paced FAA-regulated environment.
