Job summary

The Timken Company is staffing an electronics‑related maintenance technician at its Lebanon, NH facility to troubleshoot and repair machinery and support equipment, ensuring reliable plant assets. You will read manuals, schematics, and diagrams, applying problem‑solving skills across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and electronic systems.

Document work in SAP, collaborate with maintenance teams, and participate in cross‑training for basic mechanical repairs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• Experience with machinery and controls (mills, lathes, heat-treat furnaces, grinders).
• Knowledge of electronic and electrical equipment; PLCs preferred.
• Experience with SAP and electronic testing equipment; ability to calibrate.

Responsibilities

• Respond to machine breakdowns and perform timely repairs.
• Develop repair strategies and collaborate with maintenance and vendors.
• Document work in SAP and maintain records.
• Read blueprints and diagrams to troubleshoot.
• Maintain clean work areas and follow safety rules.
• Assist with cross-training for basic mechanical repairs.
• Perform other duties as required.
