Job summary

Crane Aerospace and Electronics Fort Walton Beach seeks a Development Assembler - 1st Shift to perform basic and complex electronic assembly and soldering under supervision, following military and company standards using blueprints, wiring lists, and instructions.

The role requires at least 2 years’ assembly experience, IPC/J-STD soldering knowledge, bonding, cabling, rework, and reading mechanical drawings.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of assembly experience in manufacturing.
• IPC/J-STD soldering, bonding, cabling, rework and reading drawings preferred.
• Basic computer skills and ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled soldering of circuit cards and wires with magnification.
• Hand assemble cables, connectors, masking and crimping.
• Use soldering irons, torque wrenches and other tools.
• Inspect work against drawings for accuracy and completeness.
• Cross-train on at least two products.
• Maintain safe work habits per OSHA and policy.
