Job summary

Crane Aerospace & Electronics is seeking a Development Assembler - 1st Shift in Fort Walton Beach, FL. You will perform soldering, cable assembly, and component prep under supervision, following military and industry standards.

The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and continuous improvement within a busy aerospace environment. The ideal candidate provides 2+ years in assembly, strong attention to detail, and ability to interpret assembly drawings.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of assembly experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in IPC/J-STD soldering, bonding, cabling, rework, and reading mechanical drawings preferred.
• Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and distribution of goods.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled soldering of circuit cards and assemble cables using a microscope.
• Assemble cable assemblies, connectors, and perform component prep and inspection.
• Cross-train to work on at least two products and support safety and 5S initiatives.
• Assist with audits, inventory counts, and continuous improvement activities.
