Job summary

RTX in Goleta, California is seeking a 2027 intern on the Electrical Engineering team to collaborate on the development of high‑speed digital hardware for aerospace imaging products.

The role involves circuit design & analysis, schematic capture, lab validation, and cross‑functional teamwork with mechanical, firmware, and systems engineers to meet size, weight, power, reliability, and cost targets.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering and enrolled through internship/co‑op.
• Minimum 60 credit hours by start of internship.
• Coursework or projects in Circuit Design & Analysis required.
• Experience with MATLAB, SPICE, and PCB design tools.

Responsibilities

• Support design and development of high-speed digital hardware for aerospace imaging products.
• Use standard design tools to develop schematics, layout, and circuit analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, firmware, systems, and manufacturing engineers.
