Job summary

Raytheon is seeking a hardware design engineer at the Goleta site to design high-speed digital hardware for aerospace imaging systems. You will develop schematics, perform circuit analysis, and work with cross-functional teams on challenging electronics hardware solutions.

The role offers onsite work at RTX Goleta with opportunities to learn ECAD layouts, circuit verification, and RF considerations in a laboratory environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field by start date.
• Digital design and electronics coursework or laboratory experience.
• Analog & RF circuit design coursework or experience.
• Demonstrated circuit layout and schematic capture.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-speed digital hardware for Raytheon Vision Systems imaging products.
• Create schematics and perform circuit card layout.
• Collaborate with mechanical, firmware, systems and manufacturing engineers.
