Job summary

Crane Aerospace and Electronics in Fort Walton Beach, FL is seeking an Assembler II-IV to perform basic and complex electronic or hybrid assembly operations on components, PCBs, and subassemblies in accordance with military and other standards. Responsibilities include soldering, cable assembly, wiring, and inspection under supervision.

Essential duties cover aligning with drawings, using microscopes, and cross-training on multiple products.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of Assembly experience in a manufacturing environment.
• IPC/J-STD soldering experience is a plus.
• Basic reading comprehension and ability to read production/engineering prints.
• High School diploma or equivalent; Fine soldering certificate or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled soldering of circuit cards with microscope.
• Assemble cable assemblies and pin interfaces into connectors.
• Use hand tools and power tools along with automated machinery.
• Visually check completed work against drawings for accuracy.
• Cross-train to work on at least 2 products.
• Follow safety policies and training requirements.
