Job summary

Safran Ventilation Systems is seeking an Operator/Assembler to perform electro-mechanical and mechanical assembly of aircraft components under close supervision. You will disassemble, inspect, troubleshoot and assemble units to meet specifications and customer requirements.

Responsibilities include interpreting blueprints and specs, using soldering irons and hand tools, measuring with micrometers, and supporting ERP-based parts requests in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; FAA 145 Repair Station experience preferred.
• 3–5 years aerospace experience preferred.
• Experience reading electrical test instruments.
• Strong electro-mechanical assembly and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, wire, and install subassemblies per drawings and manuals.
• Disassemble, clean, troubleshoot, overhaul and repair aircraft components.
• Inspect, test, and adjust units to spec tolerances.
• Utilize ERP for parts requests and receiving materials.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and safety practices.
