Job summary

L3Harris is seeking an experienced Electrical Test Technician to support engineering activities for moderately complex tests of advanced optical-sensing spaceflight hardware in Rochester, NY. The role requires working with limited supervision and may involve overtime and shift work to meet production timelines.

The candidate will apply standard technical principles, generate test results, and document findings in technical reports, while collaborating with senior staff and ensuring compliance

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience; or 2 years post‑secondary/Associate’s Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance

Responsibilities

• Support preparation of the test environment
• Serve as a supporting member of the Test Readiness Review process
• Generate and provide initial review of test results
• Follow established procedures and detailed instructions with minimal guidance from more senior functional staff
