Job summary

The Boeing Company in Oklahoma City, OK is seeking an Electrical Power Design and Analysis Engineer at Associate, Experienced, or Lead level to perform analyses ensuring safe electrical power loading for air and space platforms. You will translate requirements into system architecture, hardware, and interface specifications, coordinating with teammates and customers.

Candidates must have a degree in engineering and 2+ years of related experience; travel up to 10% is required.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical/Aeronautical or related) or non-US equivalent.
2+ years’ related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience using power measurement test equipment (power supplies, meters, analyzers).
Familiar with Electrical Loads Analysis (ELA) concepts and MIL-E-7016.
Willing to travel up to 10% of the time.

Responsibilities

Coordinate, test, and verify Electrical Power requirements with teammates, customers, and system architects.
Review supplier and partner qualification data for compliance to electrical power requirements.
Perform Electrical Loads Analysis on multiple platforms per MIL-E-7016.
Lead and coordinate work translating requirements into system architecture and designs.
Develop automated test equipment to support aircraft test requirements.
