Job summary
Accenture Federal Services is seeking Electrical / Wire Harness Design Engineers for an up-conversion team on a modernization program for a major aerospace & defense manufacturer. The role converts legacy 2D wiring diagrams into structured, model-based definitions in Zuken E3.series and releases them into the client’s PLM system.

Qualifications
- 3–7 years of electrical design engineering experience.
- Hands-on ECAD experience in tools such as Zuken E3.series, Mentor Capital/Capital Essentials, EPLAN, or Mentor/Xpedition.
- Track record of creating and modifying electrical schematics, wiring and cable definitions.
- Working knowledge of connectors, pin-outs, wire sizing, and shielding.
- Willingness to learn Zuken E3.series; direct E3.series experience not required to start.
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
Responsibilities
- Build electrical definitions in E3.series: wiring diagrams and harness models.
- Ensure connectivity lands on correct pins and attributes are complete.
- Maintain a clean device tree with proper assemblies and part-number attribution.
- Reconcile E3 BOM with the PLM BOM.
- Support obsolescence review and propose process improvements to the technical lead.
