Job summary

RTX invites a Summer 2027 Electrical Engineer Internship in Cedar Rapids, IA, within the Resilient Connectivity Products Hardware Department. You will design digital hardware used in high-performance communication products, learning through Hands-on experience with experienced Collins Aerospace engineers.

Qualified students pursue Electrical Engineering or related STEM degrees and will gain exposure to schematic capture, layout, testing, and root-cause analysis in a fast-paced, team-based

Qualifications

Must be pursuing Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field and enrolled through the internship session.

Responsibilities

Perform circuit card design lifecycle activities including requirements capture, schematic capture, design documentation, signal integrity analysis, PCB stackup and routing instructions.
Create and analyze electrical schematics.
Select components to meet design requirements.
Test and troubleshoot electronic circuitry.
Assist with digital hardware factory and field failure root cause analysis.
