Job summary

KBR is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to study, design, and specify electrical/electronic systems for aircraft and missile platforms and related support equipment. The role involves independent evaluation, complex design challenges, and test plan development.

The candidate will work in a team environment, prepare technical reports, and coordinate with subcontractors. A U.S. government clearance may be required; travel up to 10% is possible.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (ABET-accredited)
• Strong communication skills, written and oral
• Ability to compile and prepare technical reports
• 3–7 years of relevant electrical engineering tasks with MS Office proficiency

Responsibilities

• Study, design and specify electrical/electronic systems for aircraft and missile platforms
• Develop test plans and procedures for data collection and certification
• Perform reverse engineering and adaptation of engineering techniques
• Coordinate with subcontractors and integrate work from multiple teams
• Prepare subcontractor work requirements and oversee performance
