Job summary

Eaton’s AER MSD Mission System Division in Davenport, IA is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design and certify electrical components for aerospace systems. You will support and lead electrical/electronic activities across the product life cycle, analyze requirements, define interfaces, review specs, and mentor junior engineers.

Responsibilities include designing mixed-signal PCB/PWB, developing test plans, performing in-house and field testing, interfacing with customers and suppliers, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Ability to read and generate electrical schematics.
• ITAR: U.S. person status required for employment.
• 1–2 years of Electrical Engineering experience preferred.
• Familiarity with EMI/EMC, DO-160, DO-254.
• Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, and test electrical components for aerospace systems.
• Develop PCB/PWB designs and write test/qualification plans.
• Support product life cycle management and provide technical guidance to the team.
• Interface with customers and suppliers on development programs.
• Support operation and field service teams with analysis and troubleshooting of legacy products.
