Job summary

Castelion is hiring an Electrical Engineer to own CCAs through qualification and production readiness. You will collaborate with electrical, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams to move complex electronics from prototype to full-rate production while ensuring reliability and manufacturability.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and PCB layouts.
  • Experience with ECAD tools such as Altium Designer or Cadence Allegro.
  • Understanding of PCB/CCA manufacturing processes.
  • Familiarity with components, power distribution and signal integrity.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration in a multidisciplinary environment.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Responsible Engineer for CCAs powering flight hardware.
  • Drive design verification, qualification, and production readiness.
  • Support environmental, electrical, and functional testing and document results.
  • Collaborate with Quality to establish production metrics and processes.
  • Support LRIP and FRP transitions and resolve manufacturing issues.
  • Coordinate with suppliers on obsolescence and availability.
  • Update schematics/docs to improve manufacturability and reliability.
  • Review PCB layouts for manufacturing compliance.
  • Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions.
  • Work cross-functionally across engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and integration.
