Job summary

Innova Solutions is hiring an Electrical Design & Analysis Engineer in Everett, WA. This contract role spans full lifecycle activities from requirements to field support and is onsite.

Expect collaboration with suppliers and cross-functional teams on aerospace projects. The role requires a STEM degree and 3+ years of hardware design experience, with hands-on lab work and knowledge of MIL-STD-1553B, ARINC-429, and Ethernet.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or advanced STEM degree required (Technology, Engineering, CS, Math, Physics or Chemistry).
• 3+ years’ experience with hardware or electrical/electronic systems design in Aerospace/Defense.
• Working knowledge in subsystem design, requirement analysis/allocation.
• Practical experience with lab equipment for hardware development, troubleshooting, and data capture.

Responsibilities

• Support entire product lifecycle: requirements analysis, design, lab specs, integration testing, flight test, sub-contractor management, field support, customer interactions.
• Develops and documents moderately complex electronic/electrical system requirements.
• Designs hardware, software, and interface specifications.
• Tests to ensure designs meet operational and functional requirements.
• Assist in monitoring supplier performance for system integration and compliance.
• Resolve issues with fielded hardware/software across lifecycle.
• Research technology advances for potential business use.
