Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3-5 years aerospace/defense engineering experience (5+ preferred).
• Experience with SiliconExpert required.
• File management with SVN and SharePoint; cloud-based interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Support electrical/electronic design activities including component selection considering performance, materials, construction, availability and cost.
• Perform obsolescence management including alternate part recommendations.
• Interface with manufacturers to verify OEM part numbers, qualified manufacturers and COTS items.
• Develop and maintain electronic component databases.
• Apply data-sheet analysis to assess suitability for applications.
• Perform reliability analysis and stress assessment using CAE tools (ANSYS, MATLAB).
• Adhere to internal, industry and government standards.
• Support design and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Support design/analyses using Altium/OrCAD/HyperLynx/Pspice/LTSpice.
