Job summary

Textron's Bell unit in Fort Worth is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Intern for a 10-week summer program.

You will analyze regulations, assist with safety inspections and audits, and participate in injury investigations to support a compliant and safe operation.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental/ Chemical Engineering, Biology, Sustainability, or related sciences, with 60 credits and a 3.0 GPA preferred.

Qualifications

• Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher with a major in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biology, Sustainability, or a related Science degree strongly preferred.
• Minimum 60 credit hours completed by the start of the internship (June 1, 2027) or prior Bell internship experience.
• 3.0 GPA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze regulations at local, state, and federal levels and develop plans to comply with these requirements.
• Assist in safety inspections of equipment and audits for conformance with safety and environmental requirements (OSHA, EPA, etc.).
• Contribute to injury/incident investigations and determine root causes with corrective actions.
• Support the EHS team in implementing standards and engineering-based applications to meet requirements.
• Participate in cross-functional efforts to maintain a safe and compliant operation.
