RTX’s Pratt & Whitney Hot Section Engineering team in East Hartford, CT is seeking a motivated engineer to join the Hot Section Durability group. The role focuses on evaluating fielded performance of Hot Section products in commercial and military engines through fleetwide statistical analysis to inform business decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) required.
• 8 years of engineering experience, or an Advanced degree in a related field and 5 years of related engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Optimize and execute ETL pipelines within Databricks to integrate data into the data warehouse.
• Interrogate the data to drive insights, and apply advanced statistical analysis, including AI/ML tools.
• Present findings using data visualization tools to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data requirements and maintain data integrity.
• Advance, standardize, and improve Hot Section life predictions.
