Job summary

A staffing and recruiting firm is looking for an experienced Aerospace Drilling Technician to support the assembly, installation, and inspection of aerospace structural components. The technician will work with blueprints and specifications to ensure high-quality builds. Responsibilities include drilling, fastening, and performing inspections to meet safety and quality standards. Prior experience in aerospace structures and strong mechanical aptitude are essential. This is a 6-month contract position with possibilities for extension.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in aerospace structures or aircraft structural assembly.
• Strong blueprint reading and mechanical aptitude.
• Experience with precision measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install primary and secondary aircraft/spacecraft structures.
• Perform drilling, fastening, riveting, torquing, and shimming operations.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications.
• Perform inspections to ensure conformance to engineering and quality requirements.
