Job summary

Talentify is seeking an experienced Level 3 Direct Buyer (Contractor) in El Segundo, CA to manage end-to-end procurement of direct materials, including COTS products and aerospace components. You will leverage strong negotiation skills and supplier management experience in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

The role requires 5 years of procurement experience, expertise with ERP systems, and the ability to coordinate with engineering and quality teams to meet complex compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• 5 years procurement experience, direct buying preferred.
• Experience procuring COTS electronics and aerospace materials.
• Proficiency with ERP/procurement systems (SAP, Oracle, Coupa).
• Strong analytical, communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute full procurement lifecycle for direct categories including COTS and aerospace materials/services.
• Process requisitions and convert to purchase orders in line with policies.
• Source, evaluate and select suppliers based on cost, quality, delivery and service criteria.
• Issue RFQs/RFPs and conduct competitive bid analyses.
• Maintain supplier relationships and ensure on-time delivery post-award.
