Eaton is seeking a Buyer 1 in Camarillo, CA to execute purchasing of assigned commodities and develop a supplier base for uninterrupted production. You will implement procurement strategies aligned with cost and quality targets, while maintaining ERP data and supplier relationships in a fast-paced aerospace interconnect environment.

The role focuses on achieving DOH, SOTD, and inventory targets, with daily support from SCM.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of one year of experience in supply chain planning/purchasing within a manufacturing environment.
• ITAR restrictions require U.S. person status and no sponsorship.
• Candidates must live within 50 miles of the Camarillo, CA facility.

Aufgaben

• Executes purchasing of assigned commodities to ensure uninterrupted supply and optimal cost and quality.
• Implements procurement strategy based on commodity, SC needs and customer targets.
• Develops and manages supplier base to support manufacturing and on-time delivery.
• Maintains ERP data for suppliers and purchase orders.
• Monitors supplier performance against contract terms with support of supplier development and SCM.
• Expedites critical orders and addresses missing materials in coordination with the SC team.
• Quotes and buys assigned parts for the site and analyzes MOQ vs consumption.
• Maintains MRP health and reports PO/invoice discrepancies.
• Responds to daily MRP reports and supports price variance analysis (PPV).
• Participates in daily production meetings to meet production needs.
