Job summary

Doncasters in Oxford, Alabama, seeks a Product Engineer to own the physical envelope of aerospace investment cast parts. You will interpret blueprints, master GD&T, and design or procure tooling while managing dimensional qualification (FAI) for a defined portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related engineering discipline from an accredited program.
• Minimum 3 years of direct engineering experience with dimensional control, tooling design, or precision manufacturing—ideally within an aerospace investment casting or precision machining environment.
• Advanced proficiency in 3D CAD modeling platforms (Siemens NX).
• Comprehensive understanding of GD&T, including tolerance stack-up analysis and datum scheme selection.

Responsibilities

• Own the physical envelope of the part and interpret customer blueprints.
• Master GD&T requirements and design/procure precision tooling (dies, wax patterns, setters).
• Manage dimensional qualification (FAI) for a portfolio of aerospace parts.
• Collaborate with Process Engineering to align metallurgical and geometric specs.
• This role is on-site at Doncasters' Oxford, Alabama facility.
