Job summary

Pratt & Whitney Springdale, AR, is seeking a 3rd shift Dimensional Inspector for the Aftermarket Repair PSD. The role runs Friday–Sunday, 6:00 am–6:30 pm, and focuses on inspecting engine cases to verify conformance with drawings and work instructions.

You will use gauges, calipers, micrometers and related equipment, perform receiving, in-process and final inspections, and document discrepancies. A HS diploma with 1 year of relevant experience is required, and aerospace experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• HS diploma (or equivalent) with a minimum of 1-year relevant experience.
• Experience in aerospace or related industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process and inspect a variety of engine cases to verify conformance to work specifications using prints, work instructions, layouts, gauges and other measuring equipment.
• Perform visual and dimensional inspection as part of receiving, in-process and final inspections and report discrepancies found during the inspection process.
• Work with engineering specifications, industry standards, repair manuals and customer requirements.
• Use scribes, verniers, calipers, height gauges, depth gauges, micrometers and indicators.
