Job summary

Karman Space & Defense is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support the design, development, and testing of advanced aerospace systems in Mukilteo, WA. You will contribute to multi-disciplinary projects within the Hypersonics and Strategic Missile Defense business unit and help deliver performance-ready hardware for challenging defense programs.

Applicants should have 2–5 years of aerospace/defense experience, proficiency with SolidWorks and GD&T, and the ability to read and report technical

Qualifications

• BS or MS in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
• 2–5 years in aerospace/defense.
• Knowledge of data acquisition systems and instrumentation.
• Experience with product development testing and prototype test support.
• Familiarity with SolidWorks and GD&T.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical documentation.
• Strong report writing and communication skills.
• Ability to solve practical problems and follow instructions.
• Math: algebra, geometry, and basic calculations.

Responsibilities

• Support mechanical system development planning and execution.
• Help deliver client objectives on time and within budget with quality.
• Contribute to test planning, data collection, analysis, and reporting.
• Assist business development and project performance efforts.
• Interact with clients for needs definition, proposals, and reviews.
• Collaborate with staff on proposals and project execution.
• Show enthusiasm for aerospace and hands-on work.
