Job summary

AAR Corp. is a global aerospace and defense aftermarket solutions company seeking an engineer to perform a variety of engineering work across design, production manufacturing, test, calibration and efficiency.

You will work with products and disciplines to improve production, quality and environmental suitability, using CAE/CAD tools (Cre o/Pro-E preferred) and creating 2D drawings, BOMs and routings. Collaboration with production, purchasing, marketing and customers is expected.

Qualifications

• BSME or Engineering Bachelor’s Degree from ABET accredited school (or equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering work across design, production manufacturing, test, calibration and efficiency.
• Operate computer-assisted engineering and design software; Creo/Pro-E preferred and 2D drawings required.
• Gather, coordinate and apply basic engineering data using established principles and procedures.
• Apply specialty to design, develop, implement and maintain creative engineering solutions.
• Review progress with management and recommend corrective actions, including alternatives.
• Provide Engineering and technical support to production, purchasing, marketing and customers.
