Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Marietta, GA seeks an Aeronautical Engineer Manager (L5) to lead the C130 digitization program within the Structures Design team. Responsibilities include guiding work scope, supplier management, and metrics reporting, while ensuring CATIA V5 model accuracy and cross‑functional collaboration with external partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical, Aeronautical or Aerospace Engineering.
• Management or Team Lead experience.
• Experience with airframe design/development, production support and sustainment.
• Experience with Catia V5, NX/Teamcenter or similar PLM/CAD toolset.
• 10+ years of related experience and may have a post-secondary degree or training in a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead the C130 digitization efforts for the AMMM Airframe Design team.
• Coordinate employee recruitment, selection, training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions.
• Serve as primary point of contact for the contractor team to ensure quality and quantity of supplied engineers in alignment with the Statement of Work.
• Assign work scope, manage supplier relationships, prioritize tasks, and report metrics.
• Review and validate 3D part and assembly models in CatiaV5 for accuracy and clash analysis.
