Job summary

Karman Space & Defense seeks a Design Engineer II to contribute to the conceptualization, design, development, testing, and deployment of aerospace structures and mechanisms. You will design high-energy actuation systems and translate complex requirements into concrete hardware solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 2–5 years aerospace or defense experience.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Own engineering tasks and design robust hardware.
• Produce engineering drawings and 3D models.
• Support design reviews, testing, and deployment.
• Mentor junior engineers and guide teammates.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers.
