PDS Defense, Inc. in Wichita, KS is seeking a Design Engineer to develop repair solutions for aircraft structures from a design perspective. You will create and modify technical documents and work with static stress and fatigue teams to ensure airworthiness.

The role requires engineering judgment and collaboration with multiple departments. The candidate should have a BS in Engineering and 5+ years of airframe experience, with strong computer skills in MS Office and Google Suite, and be eligible

Formación

• BS in Engineering with emphasis on structural design and mechanics of materials.
• 5+ years experience in airframe structures and/or system installation projects.

Responsabilidades

• Create and modify repair solutions from a design perspective for aircraft structures.
• Perform design efforts for metallic and non-metallic parts with collaboration from stress teams.
• Review damage reports and verify repair solutions with support.
• Collaborate with FDT, Design and other departments to develop optimum solutions.
• Create or modify technical documents such as Technical Communications and Repair Instructions.
