Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive purchasing/supply-chain/materials experience.
• 5+ years of leadership experience.
• Aerospace, defense, or similarly regulated distribution experience.
• Strong experience with supplier negotiations, inventory management, demand planning, and working capital.
• Strong ERP and Excel/data-analysis skills.
• Ability to understand part numbers, drawings, specifications, certifications, and customer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the supply chain organization: Set strategy, budgets, staffing, processes, and performance expectations for purchasing and planning teams.
• Manage sourcing and suppliers: Negotiate pricing, lead times, quantities, payment terms, allocations, and supply agreements.
• Plan inventory and demand: Establish stocking levels, safety stock, reorder points, and replenishment strategies.
• Protect supply continuity: Monitor supplier performance and risks such as sole sourcing and long lead times.
• Manage inventory investment: Improve inventory turns and balance customer service against cash tied up.
• Ensure quality and compliance: Meet aerospace/defense specifications, traceability, and government requirements.
• Partner cross-functionally: Work with Sales, Programs, Operations, Quality, Finance, and Accounting.
• Improve systems and processes: Maintain ERP data, forecasting, workflows, and analytics.
• Provide executive visibility: Report performance, risks, shortages, and cost savings to leadership.
