Trigon Cyber in Huntsville, Alabama, is seeking a software engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain aerospace and defense software systems. You will participate in all SDLC phases and collaborate across disciplines to ensure seamless integration and system performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• Minimum of three (3) years of professional software development experience
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages, including: C++, Java, C#, Python, or other object-oriented programming languages
• Experience with software development methodologies and lifecycle
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Experience working with Linux Operating Systems
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Familiar with version control systems and CI/CD
• Experience with debugging and testing

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software applications supporting aerospace and defense systems
• Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Collaborate with systems, software, hardware, integration, and test engineers
• Conduct software design reviews and peer code reviews
• Develop and execute unit, integration, and system tests with CI/CD
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects and performance issues
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation
• Contribute to process improvements and software engineering best practices
