Job summary

Trigon Cyber seeks a skilled software engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality applications supporting aerospace and defense systems. You will participate in all phases of the SDLC, collaborate across disciplines, and drive continuous improvement through automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• Minimum of three (3) years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages including C++, Java, C#, Python.
• Experience with Linux operating systems and software development lifecycle.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, good communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Software design and development of high-quality applications for aerospace and defense systems.
• Participate in all phases of the SDLC including requirements, architecture, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Collaborate with systems, software, hardware, integration, and test engineers for integrated solutions.
• Conduct design reviews and peer code reviews; promote coding standards and best practices.
• Develop and execute unit, integration, and system tests; utilize CI/CD pipelines to improve quality.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects and performance issues.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation for design, development, testing, and integration.
• Contribute to process improvements and stay current with emerging tools and practices.
