Job summary

Barton Malow is seeking a Senior Superintendent for an aerospace and defense project in Orlando, FL. You will lead field operations, drive safety culture, and coordinate with architects, consultants, and the Project Manager to ensure quality and schedule adherence.

Responsibilities include supervising trades, monitoring performance, and managing constructability while promoting continuous improvement and liaison with owner and government partners.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience managing large-scale construction projects; aerospace and defense experience strongly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Knowledge of aerospace and defense industry standards, regulations, and security protocols (DFARS, ITAR).
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to complete an extensive background check.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate, and sequence contractor work to minimize interference and maintain project flow.
• Observe and interface with contractors and trades to monitor performance and compliance with rules and specs.
• Liaise between owner, contractors, and engineers to ensure drawings and schedule alignment.
• Maintain and update the project schedule with area Superintendents.
• Review shop drawings and contracts to support field execution and identify constructability issues.
