Job summary

Barton Malow is seeking an experienced Senior Superintendent to join our Columbus team. This role provides hands-on field leadership, overseeing day-to-day construction operations while ensuring the project is delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

The position requires coordinating subcontractors and trade partners, enforcing safety and quality expectations, and resolving field challenges on complex projects.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of superintendent leadership experience.
• 10+ years of commercial construction experience.
• Willingness to travel and work on-site at the project location for the duration of the assignment.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all phases of the construction project, from initial planning through closeout.
• Communicate and enforce compliance with all safety and quality control processes and procedures.
• Supervise, coordinate, and sequence contractor work to minimize interference between trades on the project.
• Maintain records of labor and material cost, and track inventory to ensure materials are on hand to support the schedule.
• Take a lead role in addressing and resolving trade disputes and work jurisdiction issues.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to field staff, and manage relationships and communication with internal team members, subcontractors, and trade partners.
