Job summary

Allied Mechanical seeks a skilled manual machinist to perform deburring, drilling, buffing, and polishing of large castings and metal parts. You will read routers and blueprints, select abrasives, and assemble components per specifications in a busy, safety-focused shop.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6–12 months experience deburring parts in aerospace/machine shop.
• Ability to read routers, specs and basic blueprints.
• Knowledge of calipers and other hand measuring devices.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Prior forklift experience desired (6+ months).
• Organized and detail-oriented work habits.

Responsibilities

• Drill, buff, sand, deburr and polish parts per specifications.
• Select abrasive materials and tools for tasks.
• Install hardware and assemble parts as instructed.
• Ensure parts meet tolerances and torque specs.
• Maintain safe, clean work area.
