Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking a Deburr Lead to oversee deburr technicians and ensure compliance with customer and industry specifications in finishing machined parts. The role includes monitoring performance, coordinating tools, and maintaining safe, efficient operations on the shop floor.

Responsibilities cover burr removal, blending of metals, inspection, and adherence to prints and procedures. First shift hours apply; on-site work in a metalworking environment with PPE and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Experience reading shop blueprints, drawings, and specs.
• Familiar with precision measurement tools (calipers/micrometers).
• Ability to operate grinders and similar tools safely.

Responsibilities

• Remove burrs and blend surfaces per specifications.
• Inspect parts and ensure finish meets required standards.
• Monitor and motivate a team toward department goals.
• Adhere to safety, ITAR and company procedures.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work area.
