Job summary

Blue Origin is looking for Certified Welding Inspectors to ensure high standards in their fabrication teams. This role focuses on certifying welds and requires experience with various welding processes and NDT.

Qualifications

• Must have Certified Welding Inspector certification (CWI) with minimum 5 years' experience.
• Excellent attention to detail and task ownership.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. unassisted.

Responsibilities

• Certify welds across fabrication teams.
• Uphold shop fabrication requirements established in codes and standards.
• Inspect to national fabrication codes and standards.

Skills

Certified Welding Inspector certification (CWI)

Experience with welding processes (GTAW, FCAW, SMAW)

Knowledge of NDT processes (VT, PT, MT)

Attention to detail

Strong interpersonal skills

Education

5 years of experience in welding
