Job summary

You will answer questions about products, availability, pricing and credit terms, propose sealing solutions for aerospace, defense, and government programs, and maintain records in Oracle. A two-year college degree and 3+ years in customer service are preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree required.
• At least 3 years of experience in customer service, inside sales, or a related role.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel in daily tasks.
• Experience with Lotus Notes or Oracle is helpful, but training is provided.
• Analytical thinker able to manage multiple requirements to find the best solution.
• Able to read blueprints to support accurate quoting and recommendations.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Positive attitude and accountability in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support customers and internal teams by understanding products, pricing, and margin goals.
• Answer questions about products, availability, applications, pricing, and credit terms with clarity.
• Recommend sealing solutions for aerospace, defense, and government environments.
• Create accurate quotes and bids for components used worldwide.
• Take orders and gather information from customers via phone, email, or in person.
• Provide delivery timelines, warranty details, and order updates.
• Build long-term relationships with customers and vendors.
• Maintain accurate records using Oracle and internal systems.
• Share customer feedback with product teams to improve solutions.
• Stay compliant with Sealing Devices Quality System standards.
