Job summary

Amentum at Kennedy Space Center seeks skilled technicians to install, maintain, and test fixed cranes, doors, and platforms. The role requires following instructions, reading blueprints, and performing safety-critical operations in a testing facility.

Partial telework options are available with flexible schedules. Candidates must meet security clearance expectations and be able to travel on site as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Knowledge of basic mechanical equipment and systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform installation, maintenance, modification, refurbishment, cleaning, troubleshooting, repair, adjustment, calibration, verification, certification, checkout, test and operation of fixed cranes, doors, and platforms, logistics material handling equipment.
• Operate fixed cranes, horizontal and vertical doors, and platforms for operations and maintenance.
• Maintain certifications, licenses, permits as required and ensure safety standards.
