Job summary

Crane Aerospace & Electronics in Burbank, CA seeks a Conventional Machinist for first shift. You will set up and operate conventional machine tools to produce precision parts, inspect parts, and collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams. Weekend/overtime flexibility is required.

FAA sensitive position; background check may apply. Requirements include 2+ years in conventional machining, GD&T knowledge, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in conventional machining, on-the-job or formal training.
• Knowledge of inspection equipment and GD&T basics.
• Ability to read blueprints and geometric tolerancing.
• Strong attention to detail and record keeping.

Responsibilities

• Machine parts to specifications using conventional tools.
• Exchange technical information with engineering and manufacturing teams.
• Measure and test completed parts to ensure conformance.
• Set up and operate conventional lathes, milling machines, shapers, grinders, and drill presses.
• Identify and address machine anomalies and maintain equipment.
