Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking a Computerized Machine Operator at our Beavercreek, OH site to set up, program, and run automated equipment that fabricates advanced jet engine components. You will ensure safety, quality, and on-time production while working with calibrated tools and blueprints.

The role requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to read technical drawings, operate calipers and micrometers, and cooperate with a cross-functional team in a high‑safety environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 6 months in manufacturing or related field.
• Experience using manual calipers for precise measurements.
• Able to stand up to 8 hours and lift up to 50 lbs with assistance.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Shift flexibility may be required.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and program a variety of computerized machines to meet specifications.
• Test tooling and dies, evaluate performance, and propose improvements.
• Perform preventive maintenance and verify calibration of tools and equipment.
• Read blueprints and apply technical specifications to produce high‑quality parts.
• Cross-train to other cell areas and assist as production needs require.
